My prayer is that if there are some who may be reading these posts on thinkerup and may have recently become involved or are just beginning to become involved in an Emergent Church, would stop to consider these warning signs.

My hope is that anyone who finds themselves drawn to the Emergent Church movement would use careful biblical judgement and study to determine the truth through much prayer and research. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you his narrow truth as taught in his infallible scriptures.

The purpose of posting articles like the one below and the many others on this blog, is to warn people that the Emergent Church movement is rapidly heading toward pre-Protestant Reformation spiritual bondage and darkness. This movement is deceiving many, especially young people.

Please prayerfully take the time to study, read, and research as the Bereans did in Acts 17:11, not just trusting what the apostle Paul said but taking the time to carefully study and research the scriptures.

these articles are written by Richard Bennett of

"When the Catholic blueprint for false ecumenism appears in Evangelical circles, it is time to sound the alarm. The Emerging Church movement has become such a toxic and dangerous threat at the present time that I see that it will take three articles to analyze it.

In the first paper I will deal with the methods employed by Brian McLaren, a chief leader of the movement.

In the second article I will address the tenets of doctrine that the movement holds.

In a third article, I will write on the mystical aspect of the whole association."

I have just posted an acticle about the monstrance and the eucharist christ, and how unbiblical it is.

I agree 100% that we are returning back to a pre-protestant time. History repeats itself.

The dark ages are upon us once more. I wonder how long it will be when we hear the emergents speak about the eucharistic mystery???

Christ must be weeping for his bride which is becomed defiled with unclean things.

Kenny, thanks for taking the time to warn people about these false teachings. I'm sure every generation can relate to 2 Timothy 4:3 - "For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear."

P.S. Love the skull and crossbones!

I just wanted to say thanks for posting warnings about the seeker/emergent/modern church that is darkening the land.

I did a little vid on youtube that visually shows the dangers of this type of movement.

You can find it here...

My advice is to seek God, listen & obey Him. Dont go wandering into traditions that are not taught in the bible.

Love ya all,

aka Xtian
